Welcome to PTI Nutrition Fundamentals

New Block Starting October 4th!

This 10-week program is for anyone looking to learn the fundamental principles behind building a successful foundation in terms of their nutrition. Whatever your health & fitness goals may be, or wherever your diet preferences lay, this framework will help you build a clearer understanding and pathway to a successful outcome.
Regardless of your goals, be it fat loss, muscle gain or health based, the information you will receive in this framework is essential to consider for a successful outcome.
This framework is based around the pyramid of nutritional importance. The format of the 10 week fundamental is below:

Week 1 & 2

The first 14 days will be an individual fact-finding exercise – approximating maintenance calorie requirements, after gathering the information from the InBody analysis. At the end of the first 14 day you will get your individual daily and weekly calorie totals.

Week 3 & 4

Goal setting, be it fat loss, muscle gain or health, we will set your calorie target with you and decide on a timeframe to reach your goals.

Week 5

Calculate your ideal macronutrient split: find out how much protein, fat and carbohydrate your body needs, and build the macronutrient split around your calorie requirements.

Week 6 & 7

Understand more about what micronutrients are and why they're important to the body. We will dig deeper into our general daily vitamin & mineral requirements and why they're important. Take on the 30/7 variety task and look at fibre requirements.

Week 8

This week the focus will be on the timing of our meals. Building a nutrition plan around your schedule, and how best to adapt when your schedule gets a little more stressful.

Week 9 & 10

Basic habit identification and manipulation.

Optional

InBody Assessment are an option throughout the 10week course.

This is not a meal plan. It is a self-exploration and educational tool, this is all the information you should understand and know for setting realistic personal goals. With this information you can more easily identify the emotional, social, phycological, physiological, economical, and intellectual issues that may be blocking your pathway to reaching your desired goal.
By the end of the 10 weeks, you will have all the information you need to make a clear plan and help build a successful individual nutritional landscape directly in line with your goals, or at the very least understand problem areas you may need to focus more heavily on and possibly get help from a coach, nutritionist, dietitian, or doctor.
